Competitive club from the ground up
 
Titans Swim Club is a competitive swimming club. As such, we aim to attend a number of galas throughout the year, which range from level one galas to level five galas. Level one is aimed at our youngest competitors, while level five are national galas for our top-performing athletes. Over the year, there will be many galas at different levels (1-5) for each swimmer to compete in. We aim to have our swimmer compete at the appropriate level. Key things to know
 
Sign up: Gala entries are managed online through the club website And sports engine motion app. Check the website or app calendar for event dates. You will receive an invitation to attend with a registration deadline. Please read all the info in the invitation carefully. Swimmers sign up and select their events and coaches approve them. All entry fees must be paid in advance by bank transfer. No late entries, changes, or refunds are permitted.
 
The Competition: In the week leading up to the gala a Google sheet will be shared with you,this will include all vital information such as warm-up times, and Volunteer allocation. These are required to be completed if assigned to you.

Club Gala Secretary

The Gala Secretary is responsible for coordinating all aspects of club competitions. This includes managing competition entries, creating schedules, liaising with other clubs, and ensuring smooth event execution. Their role is vital for the club's competitive success.

Volunteer Roles
 
In order to host some galas the gala organiser may rely on volunteers from each club to help with many of the roles. Each club has a certain number of roles that need to be fulfilled these are allocated by the host based on the number of athletes each club sends to the gala. At Titans, we then allocate these roles to parents.
 
please note:  If you are allocated it is a requirement to complete the volunteering
or find a replacement. Parents must also attend the officials briefing at the beginning of the session when they are due to volunteer. Please be aware of these details when signing up for a gala
